That laid-back, lived-in, California aesthetic that is admired around the world? That’s Amber Lewis’ signature.
Since setting up her practice 10 years ago, Amber’s distinctively layered look has won her legions of fans (and the occasional celebrity client too). With 1.7m Instagram followers hanging off her every move and a coffee table book under her belt, the California native is a multi-tasker in the truest sense of the word.
Shoppe Amber Interiors is a natural extension of the Expert’s vision. From hardware to headboards, it’s a shoppable distillation of the designer’s affinity for heirloom-quality furniture. With the brand’s new presence on Showroom—which includes exclusive pieces re-imagined by other Experts like Heidi Caillier and Jake Arnold in the most sumptuous fabrics from Pierre Frey, Dedar, and more—everyone can now have a touch of Amber’s signature style at home.
Why I founded Shoppe
I really wanted to bring my love of design and textiles to homes around the world.
My design philosophy
Is rooted in timeless design with pieces that are built to last a lifetime. It’s important fo me to design and create heirloom pieces that will never go out of style and live in a ‘forever home’.

What inspires me
I look in many places—anything and everything from nature to architecture, art, and fashion. I’m particularly taken with European designs, classic forms, and organic silhouettes.
The materials I’m loving right now
I’m all about earthy tones, textural finishes, and anything that ties back to natural elements. A lot of our designs are inspired by our surrounding elements, and being based in California is one of our favorite daily inspirations.

My biggest “pinch me” moment
It’s an evolving “pinch me” moment for the brand! Every year gets more and more exciting, and we’re so grateful for the community that has been growing with us since the early days. We’d be nothing without the support of our Shoppe community.
The anchor piece that works in every room
Depending on the space, either a sofa or bed. Starting with one of those pieces and building around them are the best way to begin the designing process.

We’ve always believed in the vision of The Expert and couldn’t wait to be part of this exciting next chapter.
