About

Jessica Helgerson specializes in thoughtful remodels of beautiful historical buildings. She has also worked on plenty of not-so-beautiful buildings which provide the wonderful opportunity of creating her own design language. The deeply transformed before and afters are just as gratifying as making something already lovely really shine. In either case, updating a building for its next chapter is a responsibility that she approaches with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness.

Space planning is a particular strength of Jessica’s that brings her great joy. All the beautiful materials and thoughtful details require a smart plan to be truly successful. This is where the magic really happens and where she always begins designing. And then of course she loves all the furnishings to follow - the colors, fabrics, furniture, art, and accessories.
