An artist at heart, Kate has been developing her signature fresh and timeless look in residential interiors since 2000 when she founded Kate Marker Interiors. As Principal Designer, Kate has created a layered, approachable aesthetic while simultaneously infusing each client's design style for distinctly custom feel.

KMI projects range from the Chicago area to each coast, ranging in size from a lakeside cottage to a 20,000+ square foot residence. Her boutique design firm has grown under Kate's vision and expanded in recent years to include an online + brick & mortar presence in the form of Kate Marker Home, offering a dynamic and curated mix of vintage and new rugs, home accessories, art, furnishings, lighting, and more to reflect the livable and inviting look achieved in Kate Marker Interiors memorable designs.
