About

Blair Moore began her design career in fashion, working in Italy with Gucci and Bottega Veneta after receiving a business degree from The University of Queensland and a design degree from Parsons School of Design in New York. Always an entrepreneur, Blair returned to the States to launch a sustainable startup with Kristy Caylor of Maiyet while in her spare time creating the concept for Moore House Design, which was founded in 2018.

Moore House Design’s interiors are clean and uncluttered, warm and organic, elevated yet casual—with inspiration drawn from Blair’s childhood in Australia, her fashion background, and her passion and respect for historical architecture. A creative mind with an affinity for interior architecture balanced with heirloom-quality pieces and a bit of “grittiness,” Blair has attracted clients worldwide and is currently working on residential homes, boutique hotel properties, and a new furniture line ROWEAM launching in Fall 2023. Each Moore House Design interior is entirely unique, cohesive, and informed by a focus on function— taking a holistic approach to interiors while layering organic and sustainable elements to add depth and integrity.

Blair’s accolades include features in House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, Business of Home, Domino Magazine and Dwell. She has won Portfolio of the Year at Parsons School of Design, The Kering Group’s Empowering Imagination Award, and was a semi-finalist for the H&M Design award.
