Natural variations in wood color and finish are to be expected. For daily maintenance, clean with a soft dry cloth following the wood grain. Dry spills with a dry cloth to avoid stains. Once the immediate spillage is cleared, ensure that the whole surface is wiped clean. Harsh household cleaners should not be used. For long term general maintenance, wood oil can be reapplied once every 6 months to a year. Damages can be rectified through light sanding and/or the use of a steam iron in conjunction with oil application. Consult with a professional woodworker.
